There's usually a better way to do things.

I'm Dalton. I like understanding how things work, figuring out what could work better, and building practical solutions that make a difference.

The interesting part is figuring it out.

The answer isn't always more software. Sometimes it's a better question.

  1. 01

    Understand what's actually happening.

Start with the people and the process. Learn what works, what doesn't, and why things are done that way.

  2. 02

    Question the unnecessary parts.

Look for avoidable steps, confusing handoffs, and opportunities to make the work simpler.

  3. 03

    Build what makes sense.

Sometimes that's an automation or internal tool. Other times the simplest solution is the right one.

There's more to a person than a job title.

This site is mostly about things I'm learning and building, but I have plenty of interests that don't fit neatly into a professional description.
