What interests me

I enjoy learning how an unfamiliar system or process works, finding the reason something is unnecessarily difficult, and turning that understanding into a practical solution.

Sometimes that's a small application. Sometimes it's a better report, a clearer procedure, or a simpler way to connect existing tools. Technology is a means to an end, not the point.

How I approach problems

I start by understanding the existing process and the people who use it. Then I look at constraints, exceptions, and opportunities to simplify. If automation makes sense, I prefer transparent, reliable solutions that can be tested and maintained.
