Process Savings Calculator

How much time does that repetitive task actually consume? Model the capacity you could recover by improving it.

Across everyone who performs this task.
Use the average active time spent.
Include wage, payroll taxes, and relevant benefits.
Annual hours freed—
Annual labor capacity value—
Year-one modeled net value—

These figures are estimates of labor capacity, not guaranteed cash savings. Real cash savings require changes to actual spending or productive use of the recovered time.

Calculated locally in your browser. No values are uploaded.

How the calculator works

Current annual hours: weekly task occurrences × minutes per occurrence ÷ 60 × working weeks per year.

Hours freed: current annual hours × expected time reduction.

Labor capacity value: hours freed × fully loaded hourly cost.

Modeled first-year net value: labor capacity value − implementation cost − 12 × ongoing monthly cost.

What the results don't mean

Capacity freed is not the same as a reduction in payroll costs. Savings assumptions depend on workload, adoption, actual outcomes, and whether freed time can be used productively. This tool is intended for early estimates, not a financial guarantee.
